FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ'S)

Whatever your reason for looking at my website, you want to know more about me before you hire me to write for you. If we were sitting face-to-face, chatting in your office, you'd ask me questions. I have tried to answer many of the most common questions below.


Q:  What kinds of assignments do you handle?

A:  My writing strength is informational copy.  I can write articles for your publications, blogs and/or website.  I can help you with your newsletters and brochures.  I can also help with ezine articles.  

Q:  How long will it take you to write my copy?

A:  Generally I will return an article within three weeks of when I receive all the information I need from you.  A blog post will average two to four weeks, depending on length and how much research is required.  A newsletter or brochure will average one week per page.  The time can vary depending on the amount of research I need to do.

Q:  What happens if we want you to revise the copy?

A:  I want to give you what you want.  I expect you to make minor revisions. I should return the revised copy to you within four business days of when I receive the request.  Two rounds of minor revisions are included in the project cost.  More extensive rewrites may cost more and take longer, depending on the scope.

Q:  Why you?

  • I am a loving, caring pet parent.  I get it.  I know that the animals we bring into our lives are not just tamed beasts, but furry additions to our families.  We want them to be happy and healthy, and to enjoy living with us as much as we enjoy having them.
  • As a consumer, I understand your market's customers.  As such, I can make the arguments for your products that resonate with your clients because they speak to what the consumer wants.
  • You already understand the benefits to having an outside copywriter.  Not only are pets my passion, but writing is as well.  I will merge my passions in a way that speaks to your customers.

Q:  Do you offer email series?

A:  Yes, I can help you with a series of informative emails sent out at regular intervals by an auto- responder.

Q:  Are you dependable?

A:  I am a self-starter, and have worked for myself for over ten years.  Prior to that for twelve years I was the employee (for eight of those years, the sole employee) of a professional who would often be gone for several days or a week at a time and it was up to me to open his office and keep it running in his absence.
